San Francisco

Sf

In 2008 the lawns in front of San Francisco's City Hall were replaced with organically grown vegetables, a project of the organization Slow Food.  Much publicity ensued, including this article in the Wall Street Journal (screen shot above).

RESULTS
Vegetables were grown - check.  Now how about a high-visibility project to demonstrate drought-tolerant, organic landscaping?
